The Arc of Atlantic County Holiday Partners Program helps bring smiles to grateful families during the holiday season. Generous community partners support the program by providing holiday meals, purchasing gifts, making a monetary donation and/or volunteering their time to wrap and deliver presents.
The program supports children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families who would otherwise go without. All recipients live in Atlantic County, have a financial need, and receive support and services through The Arc of Atlantic County.
- Your gift of $50 will provide a Thanksgiving or holiday meal to a family in our community. Donations of grocery store gift cards are also appreciated.
- Adopt a Family by purchasing presents for individuals and families who would otherwise go without. Lists provided upon request when you visit Roonga.com.
- Make a monetary gift to Holiday Partners. Please select “Holiday Partners” in the drop-down menu under how your donation is used.
Families come in all forms! In addition to local families in need, The Arc serves more than 120 people living in group homes and supervised apartments. Each home is a family. They share meals, have game nights, and celebrate special occasions together. By adopting these families, you make it possible for everyone to enjoy the spirit of the holiday season.
Here’s how it works:
- Choose a family or individual to support on roonga.com by scanning the QR code. Review each person’s wish list and shop for gifts. If purchasing clothing, make sure to double check the sizes.
- Gifts may be wrapped or unwrapped, but make sure you label each item with the provided Family ID and recipient’s name.
- Drop the gifts off at The Arc of Atlantic County, 6550 Delilah Road, Suite 101, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 or call 609.485.0800 x 175 to arrange in-person delivery to your family.
