The Arc of Atlantic County provides community based shared housing services to persons who require on-site support staff in a home that is shared by other persons’ with like and/or similar needs. Each home is shared by three to six persons’. Our homes are located throughout Atlantic County and are staffed 24-hours a day, 7 days a week with well trained, qualified, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals.
People living in a community based shared housing group home program will receive personalized services that include:
- In home access to Direct Support Professionals
- Community Integration
- Medical Appointment Support and Follow Up
- Medication management
- Transportation
- Support with activities of daily living
- Support with menu planning and meal preparation
- Support with Money Management including Budgeting and/or Entrustment
