The Arc provides a range of social and recreational respite opportunities people with I/DD in Atlantic County. Services offered through The Arc include:
After School Program
The Arc can provide a safe and caring environment for developmentally disabled children whose parents or guardians work beyond the school day. Four staff members provide care for up to twelve children on weekdays from 3PM to 6PM. Participant must be DDD eligible.
The Arc offers five hours of social and recreational activities for children aged five and up on Saturdays from 10AM to 3PM. Activities are structured and designed to improve social skills. This popular service does not require DDD eligibility to participate.
This adult respite service is provided on Sundays from 12PM to 5PM to families caring for an adult with a developmental disability. Individuals over the age of 17 can attend and participate in a wide variety of activities. This popular service does not require DDD eligibility to participate.
